The Lupine Review
A volunteer initiative nurtured and produced by author Colleen MacDonald and journalist Abby Deveney, along with graphic designer Rae Kearney, The Lupine Review gives voice to the Sea to Sky’s budding writers, poets and artists.
The 28-page print magazine features works from 16 creative forces, among them poets from Pemberton, artists from Squamish and Whistler and short story writers from throughout the Sea-to-Sky corridor. An online edition will follow.
We’re delighted to showcase these new talents, who are now “In the Lup”.
Why the publication’s name? Here’s what the trio say in the inaugural edition: “The lupine flower represents beginnings, renewal, hope. Found throughout our region, its seeds are carried far and wide. It is vigorous, resilient and beautiful to behold. The name was a natural fit.”
