My Body Feels Wiggly

Using words to express our emotions can be difficult, but our bodies can support us with lots of clues.

This book was written by a mother and daughter as they navigated the emotions that showed up when preparing to transition into kindergarten. Using the clues our bodies give us as a starting point for conversation about feelings and emotions. This book will support children, parents, and caregivers in:

• Naming how our body feels when we experienced different emotions
• Talking about what it means to have different emotions
• Recognizing that we all feel emotions differently, and that all emotions are welcome

This book is simple and repetitive and can be read in one sitting, or used to highlight and discuss a particular emotion.
