Vancouver Island's Katherine Sydor creates unique fibre landscape tapestries and a variety of Fibre Art DIY Kits of her own design. Inspired by Nature, Katherine's aim in creating art is to bring the calm of the outdoors to indoor spaces.
Each piece is made from a variety of high quality sustainable materials such as 100% recycled textiles and merino wool. Materials are sourced from other small businesses that are committed to ethical and eco-friendly practices.
ABOUT THE SUNSET KIT:
A new & original design, this kit instructs you to create a “loom” using macrame techniques. With this beginner accessible kit, you can create a whimsical 10 inch x 22 inch wall hanging.
This DIY Kit Includes:
100% cotton cord, weaving materials such as merino wool, and an unfinished hardwood dowel.
Video Tutorial and Step by Step Written instruction on creating the landscape macraweave.
A copy of our Basic Macramé Knots Booklet featuring step by step instructions and illustrations
Please note that the following are needed to create the wall hanging but not included: scissors, masking tape (or other household tape) & measuring tape.
